Our Exciting Opportunity:
We are now looking for a MOAI EHS Subject Matter Expert, to provide comprehensive Health & Safety Leadership for our MA EHS Systems and Compliance, and lead and coordinate with CU’s responsibilities to meet business needs andcompliance with EHS requirements and procedures. The systems and compliance portfolio includes GleRT and Ericsson EHS systems and ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.This position collaborates with the Head of EHS in the Market Area.
In this role, you would:
- You will deploy local, Market Area (MA) EHS Policy and Group Directives
- Define and implement the local and MA EHS compliance and audit programs and secure alignment to local, MA and Group strategy and targets
- Monitor, control and report EHS compliance and audit performance to the Head of EHS MOAI and MA Leadership Team, as required
- Provide functional EHS expertise to the MA business and associated projects
- Co-ordinate and lead the EHS Governance meetings supporting the MA EHS compliance and audit program and performance
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Education: A recognized formal OHS qualification e.g. degree or diploma (Example Post Grad / Degree and MSc in OHS Health and Safety Management or NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or other recognized certification.)
- Demonstrated ability in a similar role in EHS Leadership and Contractor Management
- Training experience and or qualification to deliver would be an advantage (recognized qualification)
- Leadership in the review and trend of ISO, internal and external audit data (ISO 45001/ ISO 14001)
- Experience in regulatory matters pertaining to EHS
- Experience in managing EHS reporting systems and co-ordination of EHS audit and compliance
- Experience in presenting to leadership, customers and MA EHS Head on relevant EHS matters
- Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility skills
- EHS knowledge and skills in EHS systems Compliance (GLeRT)
- Persuading, Communication & Influencing skills.
- Experience creating, maintaining, and analyzing EHS statistical data.
- Change & Improvement Management experience.
- High level of computer proficiency, including proficiency of all Microsoft Office products.
- Writing detailed reports and conducting investigations into EHS related performance management in compliance and audit performance
- Analyzing EHS data and presenting information to management
- Change & Improvement Leadership skills
You may also have:
- Review EHS statistical performance data and EHS programs initially and periodically against Ericsson and Ericsson Clients minimum performance requirements for subcontractors
- Approve Subcontractors that meet or exceed minimal performance requirements
- Develop productive relationships with Ericsson personnel, customers, subcontractors, to ensure compliance with EHS requirements
- Document and communicate performance and program gaps for improvement
- Assist Ericsson departments leadership with creation and implementation for Corrective action plans
- Document and communicate issues to appropriate management that identified required correction actions and timeline for completion
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
- Ability to travel as may be required within the MA.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager
