Our Exciting Opportunity:
We are now looking for an Integration Engineer to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of a node, network and/or system. Your scope of work could include the scenarios of introduction, upgrade expansion, functionality and capacity. Your work will in part form our customer legacy.
In this role, you would:
- Perform system integration activities in the 5G Core network with a focus on NRF, UDM, AUSF and UDR network functions
- Implement and lead product activities in related to deployment, integration, software upgrades and expansions.
- Document Low-Level Designs, Method of Procedures, Test Instructions, Test Reports in line with the High-Level Designs agreed with the stakeholders.
- Prepare deployment files and node configurations following the agreed designs
- Lead Acceptance Testing and coordinate directly with the customer stakeholders involved in acceptance of the solution
- Prepare and setup system test and acceptance test environment with the customer.
- Solve issues & failed test cases in the SDM domain, raise and follow-up Jira cases / CSRs.
- Document summary reports for project management related to issues, test cases and integration activities.
- Closely coordinate integration activities with internal and external stakeholders
- Report progress of assigned activities to the Solution Architect and CPM.
- Identify gaps and issues in existing processes and drive improvements
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to optimize effort on repetitive procedures
- Handle post-project activities including handover presentations and project review sessions.
- Mentor and collaborate with peers with a focus on team success
- Support pre-sales activities, including pre-studies.
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering (IT, Telecom) or equivalent
- Well-rounded system integration experience in the Telecom industry
- GIAP Certified Solution Integrator JS6
- Knowledge on UDM/UDC/SDM (User Data Management / User Data Consolidation / Subscriber Data Management), preferable on Ericsson UDC solution.
- Experience as Solution Integrator with Ericsson SDM products such as HSS-FE, CUDB, UPG and preferably with CCRC, CCSM and CCDM
- A solid understanding of concepts related database cluster technologies, authentication in 5GS, network slicing and service-based interfaces in Core network
- Experience in virtualization, preferable of Ericsson Systems.
- Experience of cloud deployments, preferable with Ericsson HDS / CEE environments (OpenStack);
- Experience with LLD creation, node configuration, integration, SW upgrades, acceptance testing in UDC area.
- Medium knowledge of IP networking and Linux.
- Knowledge on automation tools such as Python, Red Hat Ansible and bash scripting
- Communication skills to effectively translate technical procedures to the customer and identify impacts to the project activities
- Documentation skills to professionally document procedures and low-level designs that are technically accurate and aligned with High Level Design
- Solve skills to identify problems in the minimum possible time
