Our Exciting Opportunity
We are seeking a Customer Project Manager to enable the rollout of new 5G technologies around the country.
As a CPM, you will be responsible for delivery end-to-end. This includes leading and managing a team of construction managers to actively drive deployment rollout schedule.
In this role, you would:
- Industry project management certification, e.g. PMP, Prince 2.
- Local Telecommunications industry knowledge.
- Demonstrated Leadership Skills.
- Strong ability to lead and align teams.
- Strong Business Development skills – ability to develop new business opportunities.
- Standard bearer for the project with strong work ethic.
- Ability to work under pressure, resolve issues and disputes and maintain a delivery culture.
- A keen sense of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) management and execution.
- Excellent Communications & Negotiation Skills – ability and strength to negotiate and influence outcomes.
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Proactively drive the required outcomes and deliverables.
- Effectively oversee delivery schedules including baseline, realistic forecast, and actual dates.
- Manage Ericsson staff engaged on the project in addition to Approved Service Providers (ASP's) as engaged by Ericsson.
- Allocate and assign incoming work to internal staff and ASP’s.
- Manage end-to-end delivery process, governance, and relationships.
- Monitor budget, tracking cost versus progress.
- Manage project communication and reporting of progress and issues.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships, fostering a positive work environment.
- Manage project risk and opportunities – operational and commercial.
- Oversee internal and external Variations or change requests with suppliers and customers.
- Drive add-on sales opportunities towards customers and Ericsson.
- Provide reporting to both internal and external governance meetings.
- Manage key targets with a quality and first-time-right approach.
- Work closely with the different parts of the organisation for timely completion of build schedule.
- Have a continual improvement mindset to streamline processes and obtain faster outcomes.
- Need to have Australian work rights and be based in Australia.
