About this opportunity:

Ericsson seeks a Compliance Officer to strengthen its ethics, compliance and risk function across EMEA. The role promotes a strong compliance culture, provides pragmatic advice to the business, and supports execution of the Ethics & Compliance Program across a broad risk spectrum (anti‑bribery & corruption, antitrust/competition, AML, sanctions & trade, anti‑fraud, anti‑terrorism, human rights, data privacy, reputational risk, etc.). The role acts as a trusted advisor and liaison between local business units and the central Compliance Office, proactively identifying emerging risks and regulatory developments and driving risk‑based mitigation.

What you will do:

  • Foster a culture of integrity and encourage speaking‑up; act as a role model.
  • Implement and monitor Ericsson’s ethics & compliance program across assigned entities and customer units.
  • Provide timely, practical guidance on compliance matters to internal and external stakeholders (customers, third parties).
  • Maintain close engagement with local business activities and applicable laws/regulations.
  • Conduct compliance risk assessments, define local compliance priorities, and plan annual activities based on risk.
  • Develop pragmatic solutions, carry out reviews and monitoring, and deliver training and awareness programs.
  • Support sales and sourcing to identify and mitigate compliance risks; support Third‑Party Due Diligence (TPDD).
  • Handle investigations and case management; ensure effective reporting channels and regulatory interactions.
  • Assist with compliance aspects of M&A and integration when needed.
  • Prepare compliance reports and provide updates to management and the compliance organization.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Security, Sourcing, People and external partners.

What you will bring:

  • BSc in Law, Business, Accounting or related field.
  • 5–10 years’ professional experience in compliance, legal, audit, finance or related fields; experience in technology or defense is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, governance and regulatory requirements; familiarity with AML, sanctions, antitrust, data privacy and trade compliance advantageous.
  • High integrity and alignment with Ericsson’s values (respect, professionalism, perseverance).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, executive presence and cultural awareness; able to advise all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication, analytical, structured and goal‑oriented approach; able to work independently and manage multiple projects across time zones.
  • Proficiency in Arabic, English and French.
  • Flexibility to travel.
