Senior Consultant – Program and Project Risk Management
The opportunity
We support organisations to enhance performance and improve through trust, transformation, innovation and risk. We help clients identify the risks that matter, design frameworks to manage them and, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of governance and management.
As a risk, trust and transformation professional, you will be addressing a wide range of client issues in public sector, corporate and not-for-profit sector across Oceania. You will belong to an international network of specialists helping our clients to identify and manage risks related to large scale digital transformation programs and projects.
This is a hybrid position based in Warrang – Sydney or Meanjin – Brisbane. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.
Your key responsibilities
- Contributing to teams delivering program and project assurance engagements end to end, including scoping, document reviews, stakeholder consultation, observation of governance practices, reporting and presentation of observations and recommendations to key stakeholders.
- Planning, preparing and reviewing activities and deliverables for clients.
- Working on multiple client engagement teams within the practice and developing and maintaining productive working relationships with clients.
- Coaching and supporting staff members, to develop core risk and consulting skills.
Skills and attributes for success
- Experience working for a blue chip, government or professional services organisation in a project controls, portfolio, program or project management office, risk and compliance officer or project management capacity.
- Knowledge of project management and project governance concepts.
- Experience of enterprise technology solutions, including ERP, CRM, and EMS software.
- Experience operating within the Public sector and/or education sector, with an understanding of learning and student management systems.
- Experience in supervising a team, projects or processes to completion.
- Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent writing and communication skills.
- Australian citizenship and baseline security clearance (or willingness to obtain) is a bonus.
