What’s in it for you?

Our Transactions Strategy and Execution (TSE) Technology team are one of the market leaders in M&A consulting. We execute some of Australia’s most interesting transactions across entrepreneur-backed and family-owned businesses, government and corporate Australia.

We are looking for a Cyber Security professional to join us as a Senior Consultant or Manager within the TSE Technology team based in our Sydney Office [with remote working arrangements available].

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Perform cyber security due diligence on potential acquisitions to advise and support clients with cyber security risks, value and insights relevant to M&A and the client’s investment thesis
  • Lead the analysis to develop a separation or integration hypothesis that considers cyber security before the deal is signed
  • Advise on cyber security aspects in the design and implementation of a client’s technology separation or integration roadmap, including strategy definition, target operating model design, Day 1 / Day 100 integration/separation planning and execution

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Defining cybersecurity policies; standards, procedures and controls; Conducting cyber security maturity assessments, certifications or audits; Designing Cyber security strategies and roadmaps; Cybersecurity organization design and implementation; Cybersecurity technology and trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to speak with director and VP levels
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPT, CIPM, CRISC or other relevant certification, or the ambition to obtain relevant certifications
  • Business and commercial mindset – ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate sound business acumen to drive value for our clients
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to critically present information in a structured way, both in workshops and report format
