As our Accounts Payable Coordinator, you’ll oversee a strong team of accounts payable professionals with the opportunity to develop and build the function based on your experiences and recommendations. What we’re looking for
Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role
- At least 2 years’ experience in managing and motivating a team, preferably in Accounts Payable
- Provide leadership and direction to the Accounts Payable team to ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently and within the firm’s policies and procedures
- Review and continuous improvement of the existing Accounts Payable policies and practices
- Manage the requirements of any local statutory reporting obligations relating to vendor payments (Payment Times Reporting Scheme etc).
- Manage intercompany settlement process including appropriate offsets
- Managing weekly pay runs
- Experience with SAP and highly proficient using Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills; the ability to negotiate and influence decision-making, and communicate effectively with senior management on progress, issues and resolutions
