What’s in it for you?
As a Senior Manager in our Financial Services Tax team, focusing on customer tax reporting you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Manage and coordinate FATCA / CRS compliance and advisory engagements.
- Engage with the ATO to assist clients deal with regulatory audits and inquiries, including voluntary disclosures.
- Prepare, implement and review FATCA / CRS governance documentation and align expectations with the ATO’s AEOI Self Review Toolkit.
- Monitor and assess the impact of tax reform/regulatory change impacting our clients.
- Lead the development of thought leadership and new service propositions to meet the needs of our Financial Services clients in implementing customer tax reform/regulatory changes.
What we’re looking for
Here’s our ‘wish list’ but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
- A recognized university degree in finance or accounting; a CA or other professional accounting qualification.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in the financial services space and at least 4 years of experience in FATCA / CRS. QI experience a bonus.
- A good understanding of business and tax technical issues, and the ability to transform these into value-added solutions for clients.
- We will also consider candidates with less experience for Senior Tax Consultant or Tax Manager level roles.
