We are currently recruiting for a Zone Substation Senior Electrical Technician in Tamworth, NSW.
About the role
As a Zone Substation Senior Electrical Technician you will be exposed to and be responsible for the coordination/management of the construction and maintenance of Zone Substations including the installation, commissioning, and testing of Zone Substation equipment.
About You
You will be an experienced Zone Substation Technician able to demonstrate practical application of the qualification for this role. You will have experience in complying with and promoting Occupational Health and Safety values, environmental needs, quality needs and in the practice of the technical aspects of the Zone Substation Senior Electrical Technician role.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate will have completed an Electrical Apprenticeship, and preferably possess a Engineering Diploma in ESI Power Systems or capability through past employment and/or relevant qualifications. You will be required to hold a current Driver's Licence, a Qualified Supervisors Certificate, WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate and maintain all regulatory, industry and business required licences where required.
Basic skills in computer operations and an ability to work effectively, within a team environment hosting sound communication and interpersonal skills, both in writing and verbally is critical.
