We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Stores Officer to join the team in Coffs Harbour.
About the role
As the Regional Stores Officer you will be required to account for the day-to-day stores operations and be responsible for the safe and secure handling of stores and materials within the regional stores environment. You will be responsible for supporting the Regional Services Manager and Materials Manager to achieve a common goal of successfully delivering on objectives and targets.
And you will be responsible for ensuring that standard procedures and work practices are implemented with the ultimate goal of delivering on value and service to the business.
About you
You will have experience working in a similar stores operations role, whilst maintaining a safe and healthy workplace. You will be experienced in the application of stock management procedures including unloading, inspecting, receipting, storing, loading and using forklifts and other relevant plant and equipment.
You will enjoy working in a team environment, are flexible and thrive in an environment that requires you to prioritise and juggle multiple assignments and tasks. You have proven Customer Service, Communication and Computer skills in the delivery of operations.
Required qualifications
- Certificate III in Warehousing Operations or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
- Drivers Licence
- Forklift Licence
- Desirable but not required: Truck Licence, HC Heavy Combination Licence, Certificate II in Warehousing Operations
