We are currently recruiting a Test Lead to join our Essential Technology team for a 10 month fixed term contract opportunity. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint throughout NSW.
About the role
As the Test Lead you will be responsible for the management and control of all testing within the Digital Now program of work, which covers a range of transformation projects including ITSM uplift, Data Centre Resilience and Strategic Integration platform.
The role ensures that planned, thorough and methodical testing of both technology and process takes place against test scripts based on documented specifications to determine how well the deliverables meets documented requirements. The Test Lead will coordinate and manage all Test Analysts working for or in the program who perform the tests and report on test outcomes, errors or bugs.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure testing is planned and executed in accordance with the overarching test strategies and guidelines put in place by the governance teams
- Manage project testing performance to facilitate delivery of project outcomes within timeframe, scope, quality and budget expectations
- Plan and coordinate all phases of testing, including processes, plans, resources, timeframes, deliverables and traceability, within project frameworks and timelines
- Ensure the identification, classification and tracking of all defects that occur during testing and post-implementation support phases to ensure defects are resolved in accordance with business priorities
About You
You will have demonstrated experience in a similar Test Management role with demonstrated experience in managing people and diverse testing teams in Information Technology project environment. Desirable experience includes;
- Experience in both technical testing and end-to-end UAT for ITSM processes and tooling
- Experience in DCR and/or SIP requirements
- Demonstrated understanding and working knowledge of project management, risk management and assurance frameworks
Required Qualification
- Advanced Diploma of Information Technology or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
Desirable
- Test Management Certification
- ITIL and SDLC Certification
