We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated Innovation and Commercial Senior Specialist to join our Customer and Commercial Team, based anywhere within Essential Energy’s footprint, with the flexibility to work from home in a hybrid work environment.
About the role
In this role, you will use your financial, engineering, strategic analysis, and project skills to support the development of business cases for innovative and commercial public lighting technologies. You will be responsible for conducting market research, gathering, and analyzing information on innovative public lighting technologies and equipment to support the full cycle of development and implementation of public lighting projects.
About You
You are highly motivated to undertake end-to-end market research and analysis. You will have a proven track record of providing key market, technology and peer/competitor insights, with experience in developing competitor analytics to assess and understand implications of competitive behaviour in relevant markets. You will also be able to monitor market developments, provide research and develop insights into commercial opportunities.
You will have experience in developing businesses cases and analysis supporting potential innovation and investment opportunities, in addition to experience in assisting with the building of scoping and targets for required trials and reviewing the success of these pilots and trials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Commerce/Engineering or similar discipline or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
Desirable
- CA/CPA qualified
- Master of Business Administration or Engineering
