We are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst – Data and Technology to join our Essential Technology, Data team. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint throughout NSW.
About the role
Reporting to the Enterprise Data Governance Manager, the Business Analyst – Data and Technology you will be responsible for analysis of business processes, systems, and data, to help facilitate the business outcomes and drive improvements in data governance, quality, compliance, and efficiency.
The Business Analyst is further responsible for supporting the development of comprehensive strategic advice and recommendations to senior management.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the team with complex problem solving technical, financial, and forecasting advice
- Develop analytical models for identifying trends and monitoring performance
- Support workshops with business users and stakeholders to enable development of comprehensive problem statements and guide development of effective solutions
- Develop support documentation and communication to convey complex business concepts in a straightforward and effective manner for the benefit of non-technical audiences
About You
You will have previous experience in a similar role with experience in analysing business and operational data and preparation of reports and presentations to senior management and experience developing standards, procedures and guidelines for complex business processes and systems.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Business or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
