We are currently recruiting for a Cloud Collaboration Team Lead to join our Digital Services division. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint throughout NSW.
About the role
Reporting to the eTech Customer Services Manager, you will assume leadership of a dedicated team. Your team's primary focus will encompass the support, implementation, and training of M365 collaboration tools and Power Platform technologies throughout the organisation.
This role plays a pivotal part in guaranteeing the Cloud Collaboration Team's ability to provide effective assistance to the business, facilitating the optimal utilisation of collaboration tools and document management services. Additionally, you will serve as an advocate for collaboration, document and content management, as well as process automation services.
Your responsibilities extend to supporting the Cyber Security team, ensuring the reliability, security, and high-performance of the services and tools provided. Moreover, your role is of paramount importance in aiding the organisation's transition towards modern work methodologies, harnessing the full potential of the Power Platform within an enterprise context.
Key responsibilities
- Measure and report on the uptake and effectiveness of services provided by the Cloud Collaboration team including the management of Service Request and Incidents.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of M365 and Power Platform experts to deliver exceptional solutions and services.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and design customised M365 and Power Platform solutions that drive efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders across different areas of the business, while leveraging your deep understanding of M365 and Power Platform to provide guidance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and lean practices within the Cloud Collaboration team
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of the capabilities and functionality of current and competing collaboration tools and changes to cloud delivered services and their impact on users
About You
You will have demonstrated leadership qualities with experience in a similar role and a high level of experience and knowledge of Cloud based Collaboration platforms. More specifically, you will have;
- Proven track record of leading and motivating teams in M365 and Power Platform projects.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform components like Power Apps and Power Automate
- Understanding operational environments with respect to ITSM management
- Ability to align technical initiatives with broader business objectives and goals.
- Thrives in a collaborative work environment and fosters a culture of learning within the team.
- A commitment to staying updated on the latest M365 and Power Platform developments and certifications.
- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or demonstrated capability through past employment experience

- Managing Office 365 Identities and Requirements
- SharePoint development Certification
