About the role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Change Manager with training experience, to play a key role in strategic projects that will lead the way in a rapidly changing energy landscape. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint.

Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Change Specialist, as the Change Manager, you will be accountable for providing change management guidance and support to business transformation projects and ongoing business change initiatives. This position will develop and execute strategies to coordinate learning activities and maximise the adoption of the required changes. The role will align activities with the enterprise change management framework and help drive consistent change management practices across the organisation.
This role is a 24-month fixed term contract and can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint.
As a successful Change Manager, you will be a collaborative individual with strong stakeholder engagement skills and interpersonal skills. Your greatest strength will be your communication skills and ability to influence and negotiate. You will bring to Essential Energy tried and tested change management methods that are logical and strategic. You will be able to drive initiatives, work autonomously and will have a reputation for working well under pressure.
Required Qualifications
- Change Management certification (Bachelor or Practitioner Level)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Change Management working in the project delivery space
- The ability to undertake Business Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure the development and implementation of L&D Technical Capability strategies objectives and metrics are delivered upon.
- Proven experience delivering successful and sustainable change
Desirable
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, Change Management, Human Resources or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/o relevant qualifications
- Project Management certification/experience
- Energy industry experience
- Learning & Development certification/experience
