About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Portfolio Officer to join our Property team. This role will be based within the Essential Energy footprint with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment.
The Portfolio Officer plays a pivotal role in supporting program and project governance, portfolio reporting, compliance, and risk management. This position ensures the alignment of portfolio delivery with strategic goals through accurate reporting and process enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update project systems and budgetary data, collaborating with Finance for accuracy.
- Coordinate communications via shared mailboxes and calendars, ensuring clear updates.
- Conduct compliance assessments, mentor project resources, and deliver capability uplift initiatives.
- Develop, maintain, and review reports and templates for management and leadership forums.
- Administer Project Online toolsets, permissions, and licenses, including advanced SharePoint tasks.
- Monitor portfolio risks and trends, escalating issues as necessary.
About You
- Proven experience in PMO coordination, reporting, and governance processes.
- Expertise in managing project financials and using tools like Project Online and PowerBI.
- Knowledge of the project lifecycle and associated compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholder interactions.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint, and Project Online.
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills to handle multiple priorities.
Required Qualifications
Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent experience
