About the role
The Digital Services Commercial Coordinator supports the Commercial and Vendor teams within Digital Services, helping to ensure IT services are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with agreed processes. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, this role provides coordination and governance across commercial, contract, financial and reporting activities, while contributing to continuous improvement across the team.
This is a fixed term / secondment opportunity until July 2026 and can be based anywhere within Essential Energy’s operational footprint.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate commercial and vendor management activities to support planning, delivery and reporting outcomes
Maintain accurate records and task tracking across business systems including Oracle ERP
Support procurement, contract and financial reporting activities in line with policies and agreements
Identify risks, issues and improvement opportunities, escalating where required
About You
You’re an organised and proactive coordinator with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a high level of attention to detail. You’re comfortable managing competing priorities, working across systems, and supporting commercial or procurement‑related activities in a fast‑paced environment.
You will bring:
Experience in a coordination, commercial, procurement or administrative role
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Well‑developed communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
Experience maintaining accurate records and preparing reports or presentations
Confidence using business systems such as ERP platforms, Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Required Qualifications
Certificate IV in Business or other relevant discipline or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
