Our West Australian operation Mungari (Kalgoorlie) is continuing to grow and thrive with the recent acquisition of the Kundana operations. We’re continuing to integrate all operations and build the Evolution ‘One Team’ culture across our residential site.
About the role
Reporting to the Mine Manager the purpose of this role is to provide and manage administrative support and reporting requirements to the various workgroups across the mine site effectively and consistently.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing site general administrative activities and lead the support services required to enable smooth functioning of the site departments
- Assisting the Site Leadership Team to ensure site departments adhere to relevant site procedures and policies
- Coordination of staff and visitor travel requirements where necessary and management of PPE.
- Creation or reports, presentations, documents, draft letters and memos.
- Document control and data management of processes across the site
- Submitting department and site health, safety, environment, and training reports internally, across site and for group, or externally as required
- Assisting with the scheduling and management of internal and external training courses and meetings as required
- Manage the booking of travel, accommodation and rental cars for site personnel as required and ensure they are procured at optimum cost to the Company.
- Identifying and reporting any site non-conformances to the Senior Site Administrator
- Demonstrating behaviours aligned with the Evolution values, safety principles and assist in statutory compliance where necessary
About you
To be considered for this role you must be detail oriented with strong self-management skills.
The right person will have/demonstrate:
- Proven development in Excel based templates and reporting tools and the use of ERP systems and qualifications in business administration or a related discipline highly regarded
- Certification or high level of competency in MS Office modules and experience in a site or office administration function, ideally within mining industry. Experience of Inflight (FIFO, Travelling, Rostering software) is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated capability to coordinate numerous activities within a demanding environment and with competing timeframes
- Positive attitude toward safety, increase safety awareness, implement safety training and set an example for others
- Clear verbal and written communication skills and relationship building experience with strong organisational and time-management skills and a willingness to find improved ways of working.
