Our Mungari Gold Operations (MGO) is a cornerstone asset located 20km west of Kalgoorlie, WA and 600km east of Perth. Mungari is a predominantly residential mine, our employees go home every night, with many living in the local community of Kalgoorlie. MGO is positioned for significant growth including opening of new mining operations and plant expansion extending our Life of Mine.

About the role
The Superintendent – People & Culture role offers an exceptional opportunity to lead a great team of People and Culture advisors and deliver day to day P&C activities as well as major projects and other initiatives on site. Key to the role is building relationships with the business, furthering stakeholder engagement and operational collaboration.

This role will be a potential successor for the Manager – People & Culture and offers a significant opportunity to further your professional development at a managerial and technical level.
About you
As Superintendent – People & Culture, you will have a Human Resources related degree (ideally with post-graduate studies) with relevant industry experience and have a valid full driver's license.
It is also important that you have/ can demonstrate:
- A leadership approach that demonstrates behaviours aligned with the Evolution Mining values (Safety, Excellence, Accountability, Respect), models inclusive leadership with a continuous improvement mindset, challenges existing practices, drives positive cultural and performance change focused on identifying cost saving / productivity / safety improvements through direct engagement with our people.
- Experience in supporting large scale operations including managing IR/ER issues, leading EA negotiations, developing short to medium plans, budgets and workforce plans; with a strong knowledge of contemporary P&C practices, organizational development and change management.
- High level communication skills, able to effectively communicate complex process ideas/concepts to a wide stakeholder group, with a natural ability to build relationships across all levels and functions at the site.
