About the Program
We are currently seeking candidates wishing to commence an apprenticeship in January 2024 with Evolution Mining. The four year competency based program consists of practical, job-specific learning and off-site training with TAFE Queensland North, to obtain a nationally recognised qualification. Throughout the program you will be guided by qualified tradespeople and industry professionals, with exposure to both underground and surface operations. Ernest Henry’s Apprenticeship Program will provide the skills, guidance and professional development that can lead to an exciting career in the resources industry.
Opportunities Available
- Diesel Fitting - Certificate III in Engineering - Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanical
- Electrical - Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
- Fitter Machining - Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)
About You
As an Evolution Mining Apprentice, it is important that you have or can demonstrate:
- Willingness to live locally in Cloncurry or north west Queensland
- Have an unwavering commitment to safety
- Completion of at least Year 10, with sound English and Mathematics grades
- Willingness to work an 8/6 roster (12 hour days)
- A current manual Australian driver licence (minimum Provisional Licence)
