The People team at Fluent are responsible for increasing employee engagement and efficiency by developing systems, processes and programs to support our rapid growth and ensure that our Fluent staff have an amazing employee experience. We are looking for a People Experience Coordinator to join this team and support the VP, People & Culture in the rollout of these employee experiences. This role will also oversee office administration including managing onboarding and offboarding, ensuring office maintenance and upkeep and employee engagement events. If you’re passionate about others and contributing to a growing organisation, then becoming our People Experience Coordinator is the perfect career path for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • We want people to be blown away by how incredible the Fluent preboarding and onboarding experience is. You'll partner with the People team on ways we can 'wow' our new starters and support our leaders. This could range from coordinating new starter equipment, Welcome Packs, desk setup, and more.
  • Manage office maintenance, shipping, supplies and snacks.
  • You will support internal communication to ensure employees are kept informed and motivated including our People & Company newsletter.
  • Help coordinate events in the office to boost engagement (e.g. Holiday Party, International Women’s Day, RU OK? Day, etc).

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Ideally you’ll have worked in Events, Office Management or in People Operations specialising in delivering the best employee experience possible or studying towards completion in Human Resources or Event Management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills moving regularly between the tactical and strategic priorities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and balance collaboration and communication with multiple stakeholders across various departments and functions.
  • Ability to act with integrity and ethics in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to be tactical and make timely, effective, people-first decisions.

Benefits:

  • Flexibility:
    • Work on your terms, when and where it suits you, while embodying our company culture.
  • Flexible and supportive leave policies:
    • Including generous paid parental leave and paid leave for your birthday so you can celebrate you.
  • Culture is key:
    • We have a great team and enjoy regular social events to foster a collaborative, supportive and fun work environment.
  • Advance your career:
    • We invest in your future by providing an allowance to help accelerate your learning and professional development.
  • Bring your whole self to work:
    • At Fluent, we strive to create and nurture a culture where every employee can bring their whole self to work, feel inspired, and empowered to do your life’s work (or be your best self).
