We are looking for an experienced Onsite Desktop Technician / Engineer based in Auckland Airport Area. This role is on-site at our client site Monday - Friday. This is a 6 month contract role covering leave.

In this role you will be aligned to our customers’ business requirements, you will enable tailored maintenance services, supporting infrastructure services across multiple technology streams including, Hardware, Operating Systems Windows 7 through to Windows 10, Software, Networks, Server and Print devices.

To thrive in the role, we anticipate you will need to have:
  • A clear and confident communication style with the ability to build and develop strong customer relationships
  • Strong Technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals incl laptops, notebooks, workstations desktop PC’s, printers, media and audio-visual equipment BYOD and mobility
  • Sound Knowledge of desktop & software applications incl Operating Systems (Windows 7 through 10), Microsoft Office 2007 through 365, Antivirus software and systems
  • Strong Understanding in Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, End-Point Imaging. Not all are needed preference toward Intune and SCCM advantageous for the deployment tools for applications.
  • Working knowledge of basic IT infrastructure and network equipment i.e. routers, switches, servers, virtualization, VPN, RSA, Citrix, VMware, Hyper-Converged Infrastructures
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework and previous use of an Incident Management tool
  • A relevant IT qualification / certification

This is a client facing role and we are looking for someone who has strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure and is able to provide solutions and deliver a high-quality service to a key Fujitsu client within government.

It is important you have these key attributes to hit the ground running. If you have strong troubleshooting skills and have worked with a ticketing system and have application experience then this role could be a foot inside the door of a global company.

You must hold eligibility to commence work immediately and be able to commit to the full 6 months if you are on a visa.
