What’s on Offer?
We are looking to appoint a Senior Estimator to join our Construction Eastern Region team based in Sydney. In this role you will be working closely with our project teams to drive the overall estimating process for project bids across NSW. Additionally, you will assist in developing and maintaining our customer relationships, both existing & potential. You will also be responsible for;
- Planning, coordinating and leading the estimating process to maximise success;
- Contributing to tender design development and providing feedback as to the commercial viability of design solutions;
- Analysing and commenting on proposed commercial terms of projects;
- Reviewing schedules, cost estimates and submission documentation;
- Attending, participating in and delivering tender reviews for senior management;
- Developing, training and identifying improvements to the tendering systems, including facilitating the improvement and upskilling the team.
How you’ll connect to the role?
- Experience in a similar role working on civil infrastructure projects;
- Strong communication skills with excellent stakeholder management abilities;
- The technical skills to inspire confidence from senior managers and clients;
- Ability to synthesise complex data into logical information that is readily accessible to both internal and external stakeholders.
