An opportunity has recently arisen for a Foreman / Supervisor to join the Newcastle Spray Sealing Team. You will be an integral member of our Infrastructure Services Team and will be responsible for supervising contracting operations for our Sealing business. This is a permanent opportunity to step into a leadership role and define your career. You will work with innovative industry professionals who will invest in you and your development at Fulton Hogan.
Responsibilities will include:
- Carry out job inspections and plan work delivery to ensure profit targets are achieved with mind towards our HSEQ responsibilities;
- Assist work delivery crews and contractors to ensure safety, quality and environmental standards compliance;
- Assist the team to identify work delivery, safety, quality and environment improvement opportunities and non-compliance corrective actions;
- Ensure high utilisation of equipment and ensure required repair and maintenance is carried out in a timely and effective manner;
- Liaising with clients in regards to job needs and expectations;
- Planning and management of onsite activities including subcontractors and hire equipment;
- Effective people management of the crew;
- Completion of works in line with our tendered expectations.
How you will connect with the role:
- Hands on experience in bituminous spray sealing work delivery including operation of equipment and handling raw materials;
- Experience in providing bituminous spray seal work scope and product advice that is value add to customers;
- Completed a recognised Leadership training course; (preferred but not mandatory)
- Completed AAPA Safely Working with Bituminous materials and Sprayed Sealing Selection and Design training course.
Ideally you will have extensive experience in spray seal in a leadership role such as Foreman or Supervisor.
