Our Opportunity

For our Cocos (Keeling) Islands Airfield Upgrade Project, we are seeking a suitably qualified Engineer, who is looking for their next challenge and unique experience. The upgrade of the airport is critical to the island's infrastructure, as it's the main access and delivery point for supplies and visitors alike.

This position will report to the Project Manager and will be based in Perth, with frequent travel to the Cocos (Keeling) Islands until mobilisation to site. You will manage major subcontract packages including the accommodation camp and wharf construction as part of the Managing Contractor team.

You will ensure project operations related to scope of works, are in accordance with our systems and contractual obligations to meet key deliverables.

Let's Connect

We're seeking strong demonstrated experience in subcontractor focussed project management and delivery, with relevant Engineering qualifications. You will have a sound understanding of defence contracts and experience working in a remote environment where you will be accountable and responsible for significant packages of contract works. You will have an innate ability to develop and maintain strong relationships, be able to support, mentor and effectively lead a project team and subcontractors to strong delivery, and promote a positive workplace culture based on trust, respect, and high performance.
