What's on offer?
Due to an internal promotion we are now looking for our next Testing & Safety Compliance Officer. You will assist with monitoring and managing of safety compliance processes across our Eastern (NSW) region to ensure all WHS standards are met. You will coordinate and attend multiple fixed and mobile sites across NSW to complete audits and safety compliance testing. Day to day you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting workplace safety inspections and to ensure safety standards are adhered to at regional NSW sites including;
    • Electrical test & tagging
    • Fire protection test & tagging
    • First aid kits and spill kits
    • Emergency eye wash & showers
    • Back to base fire alarms
    • Managing and controlling fire safety statements

How you'll connect to the role?
You will have proven experience working in a similar role, ideally, within electrical and/or compliance. Your strong understanding of WHS acts and relevant legislation as well as of safety and health standards and regulations will benefit you in this role. To be successful in this role you must have experience in either electrical or fire protection test & tagging.

Your sense of urgency, ability to work autonomously and towards deadlines coupled with strong attention to detail and ability to effectively engage, consult and communicate with stakeholders across the business will see you succeed in this environment.

This role is highly mobile therefore you will be prepared to work away across Regional NSW in line with project needs and requirements.
