What's on offer?
Our Group finance team are looking to appoint a Senior Treasury & Finance Analyst to join the Group Treasury team in the Australia Corporate Office in Richmond.
With the role being part of the Group Corporate function, you will have broad exposure across all the business streams across Australia & New Zealand and plenty of opportunity to add value. The role involves dealing with multiple stakeholders across Fulton Hogan, accordingly, the position will suit an individual who enjoys stakeholder management and communicating with people across the business.
Reporting to the General Manager - Corporate Finance, M&A and Treasury, this is an excellent opportunity for you if you want to advance in your career by stepping up into this Senior Treasury & Finance Analyst position, or if you simply want to join a reputable civil infrastructure organisation where you will have an opportunity to broaden your skill set and develop further.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Review of balance sheet and cashlow budgets and forecasts
- Prepare and update Treasury assumptions required for input to long term planning and feeds assumptions into the long-term model.
- Preparation of board and audit and risk materials for treasury budgets, forecasts, and long-term model assumption presentations.
- Identify areas for improvement of Treasury model to improve functionality to support Treasury funding, hedging and liquidity strategy and perform ongoing analysis.
- Lead updates on refinancing and potential covenant breaches.
- Support process of legal documentation and hedging execution.
- Support compliance with policies and procedures for the management of foreign currency, interest rate and credit risk.
- Responsibility for ensuring the Treasury model is complete and correct.
- Oversight of debt rollovers, engagement with banks regarding notices and coordination with financial control team of timing and requirements.
- Review treasury operations, including bank account management, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- Assist in managing relationships with banks and financial institutions, ensuring compliance with banking agreements and monitoring service fees.
Your background
You will, ideally, hold a bachelor's degree in finance, commerce, or accounting, with 3 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Debt Advisory or a relevant banking role. Your strong understanding of debt financing, i.e., capital markets and bank debt, derivatives, hedging, liquidity, and cash management in combination with your ability to review, verify and confirm integrity of financial data will see you up for success. Furthermore, your analytical approach to decision making as well as your ability to build strong relationships and influence positive outcomes across different levels of the organisation will see you thrive in this position.
