What's on offer?
Our Pipelines Department is looking to appoint a switched on Pipelayer/Drainlayer to undertake pipe-laying duties within the sewer & water construction crews.
Based in Dandenong but operating across the South Eastern suburbs and other Greater Melbourne Metro areas, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful team.
You'll be responsible for:
- High quality laying of sewer and water main reticulation pipes within trenches of varying depth to Water Agency requirements
- Construction of property branches, services and other associated structures and assemblies
- Compliance testing, connection works, other associated plant operation, confined space works, pit building, general concreting and labouring
How you'll connect to the role?
- Previous experience in the land development industry including sewer reticulation and branch sewer construction
- Other pipelaying experience in drainage and water would be well regarded along with skills involving plant operation of loaders, excavators and dewatering equipment.
- Confined space works, testing and maintenance experience
- Relevant training and tickets - red/white card is a must
- Strong commitment to safety
- Excellent communication skills
