What's on offer?
We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced National Contracts Manager for our national projects/programs within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. Reporting to the National Commercial Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, gain industry relevant experience and receive on-the-job support/coaching. In this role you'll be responsible for:

• Assisting the pre-contracts team with preparation of tender submissions, including coordinating risk and opportunity workshops
• Reporting on proposed Head Contract terms and conditions against corporate limits
• Negotiating and drafting contractual arrangements with key partners / subcontractors
• Delivery of corporate governance function across projects to ensure compliance with Fulton Hogan policies and procedures
• Participating in month-end review processes to monitor and analyse project financial and cost reports.

How you'll connect to the role:

• Degree qualification in Law (preferred but not essential), Contracts Management, Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Experienced in providing sound contractual and commercial advice to project delivery teams to protect company against any potential claims
• Ability to identify key risks and opportunities within a Construction Contract with a view to proposing mitigation strategies
• Significant procurement experience with ability to audit project delivery against corporate policies and procedures for compliance
• Minimum of 7 years' experience as a standalone Contracts Manager, with knowledge and experience of large, complex civil/mechanical/electrical water infrastructure projects
• Willingness to travel interstate as required
