What's on offer?
We are seeking experienced Service Locators to join our Fulton Hogan Utilities team, to support in delivering a diverse range of multidisciplinary projects across Southeast Queensland. This is a fantastic opportunity for motivated locating professionals who take pride in accuracy, safety and teamwork. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Identifying, locating and verifying underground services across water, wastewater and civil infrastructure projects
  • Coordinating with Non-Destructive Digging (NDD) crews to safely positive ID services
  • Interpreting and updating drawings, plans and mark-ups with identified services
  • Completing accurate service locating reports and maintaining clear records
  • Using a range of industry-standard locating equipment and digital reporting devices
  • Communicating effectively with supervisors, engineers, NDD operators and site crews
  • Maintaining a strong safety focus and working within exclusion zones (live traffic, plant and pedestrian traffic) and live-service environments.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in underground service locating within civil, utilities or infrastructure projects
  • Nationally recognised qualification RIICCM202E - Identify, Locate and Protect Underground Services
  • CERTLOK (industry certification) and Construction White Card
  • Proficient in the use of locating equipment, electronic mapping tools and reporting apps
  • Ability to work flexibly across day and night shift rosters (occasionally required)
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing site priorities
