Why Join Georgiou - A STRABAG company

Georgiou is seeking a capable Senior Planner to join our NSW team, supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects in NSW. This is a critical role where you will take ownership of planning outcomes and work closely with project teams to drive successful delivery.

At Georgiou-now proudly part of STRABAG SE, one of Europe's largest construction technology groups-you'll join a business where local expertise meets global opportunity. For nearly 50 years, we've delivered complex and high-quality projects across Australia and built a reputation for being the best people to work with.

With Georgiou's strong local market presence and STRABAG's global innovation and capability, we're delivering projects that shape communities, develop our people, and set new industry benchmarks-while staying true to the culture and values that make Georgiou unique.

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Build impact that lasts - contribute to complex and high-profile building projects across WA
  • Grow without limits - access world-class training, mentoring and career pathways across Australia and STRABAG's global network
  • Flexibility that works for you - wellbeing leave, paid parental leave and flexible work arrangements
  • Belong and be supported - inclusive facilities, wellbeing initiatives and a people-first culture
  • A culture that cares - guided by our values of Care, Integrity and Excellence
  • Reward for your work - competitive salary package, annual reviews and access to Georgiou Perks discounts

About the Role

You will take ownership of project planning across both tender and delivery phases, ensuring programs are robust, risks are identified early, and project teams are set up for successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review construction drawings and specifications to sequence works into clear, logical project timelines
  • Collaborate with estimators to develop tender programs and prepare detailed schedules, staging and logistics plans
  • Develop and maintain schedules using ASTA Powerproject and Primavera P6 across both tender and live project phases
  • Refine tender programs into fully resourced delivery schedules (up to Level 5 detail) and hand over to project delivery teams
  • Support project teams with forensic delay analysis and schedule optimisation
  • Mentor and guide team members on planning tools, methodology, and industry best practice

You will work closely with stakeholders across the business and become a trusted advisor within a collaborative, high-performing environment that takes pride in supporting each other and driving positive project outcomes.

Your Skills and Experience

You're a seasoned Senior Planner with a background in large scale transport, water and energy infrastructure projects, confident working both independently and collaboratively. You're detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and bring a proactive mindset to every challenge.

To hit the ground running, you'll need:

  • Proven experience using Primavera P6 (and/or other project planning software)
  • Experience in independently producing contract programs for live construction projects and tenders

Highly regarded but not essential:

  • Strong capability in preparing Time Impact Analysis programs for measurement of delay
  • Experience producing time chainage programs using TILOS
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline

We are open to considering a high-performing planner ready to step up, who can take ownership and operate confidently in a fast-paced project environment.
