Gold Fields is a globally diversified gold producer with nine operating mines in Australia, Peru, South Africa and West Africa (including the Asanko JV), as well as one project in Chile.

Gold Fields' mining assets in the Australia region (GFA) include a 100% interest in the St Ives, Agnew and Granny Smith mines and a 50:50 interest in the Gruyere JV project with Gold Road Resources.

Role Details

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for providing high quality, timely and efficient administration support to Mining and UG Maintenance as well as support in other various departments as required.

This is offered on 4 days on 3 days off roster and is FIFO from Perth, or DIDO for the local community. Various rosters will be considered for this role upon application.

About the role:

  • Be organised and prepared to undertake all assigned tasks required for the day
  • Support work management processes
  • Provide support to optimise the team’s capacity to meet business requirements by managing the department roster, leave, flight, and accommodation requirements
  • Demonstration of excellent data entry and attention to detail on reports, system updates, and schedules
  • Assist the HR department with the onboarding process
  • Document and record keeping for the department.

About you:

  • Certificate II level qualification in Business Administration
  • Displayed experience in a mine-site administrative role
  • Display experience in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Exposure to using SAP, AMT, Inflight, and InControl is highly regarded
  • Valid manual driver’s licence
  • Team focused and adaptable to rotation throughout multiple departments
