Gold Fields is a globally diversified gold producer with nine operating mines in Australia, Peru, South Africa and West Africa (including the Asanko JV), as well as one project in Chile.
Gold Fields' mining assets in the Australia region (GFA) include a 100% interest in the St Ives, Agnew and Granny Smith mines and a 50:50 interest in the Gruyere JV project with Gold Road Resources.
St Ives Gold Mine is located 20km south-east of Kambalda and approximately 80 km south of Kalgoorlie. It is comprised of both open pit and underground operations and produces over 350,000 ounces of gold per annum.
Role Details
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing high quality, timely and efficient administration support to various departments as required.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth.

About the role:
- Be organised and prepared to undertake all assigned tasks required for the day
- Hand overs and technical support to be shown to the team
- Provide support to optimise the team’s capacity to meet business requirements by managing the department roster, leave, flight and accommodation requirements
- Demonstration of excellent data entry and attention to detail on reports, system updates and schedules
- Document and record keeping for the department.
About you:
- Certificate II level qualification in Business Administration
- Experience in a mine-based office administrative role
- Display experience in all Microsoft Office applications
- Experience in using SAP (ERP) and INX software systems would be highly regarded
- Valid manual driver’s licence
- Team focused and adaptable to rotation throughout multiple departments
