Role Details:
Gold Fields Australia is currently seeking a Bogger Operator to join their Underground Mining Team at St Ives Gold Mine.
Reporting to the Underground Supervisor you will be responsible for providing a quality and timely ore loading service and tele remote bogging using mobile machinery.

This role can be offered as residential in Kambalda or Kalgoorlie on 4 days on, 4 days off roster OR Fly in Fly out from Perth on an 8 days on 6 days off roster. Bus transportation is offered to and from site for residential candidates

About the role:
- Always act in a manner that seeks to enhance the safety culture and performance of GFA and ensures that the Vital Behaviours are adhered to at all times.
- Achieving production targets by operating equipment to undertake ore loading activities in a safe and efficient manner;
- Providing reliable and accurate operational and practical knowledge to minimise down time and potential loss of production;
- Utilising mobile equipment and tools with due consideration for safety and environmental issues;
- Working collaboratively with mining engineers and the survey team as necessary to ensure ore loading is undertaken to plan;
- Assisting in the provision of preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and organising the timely repair of operated equipment;
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in operated equipment such as the bogger cabin, throughout workshops and wherever works are carried out;
- Following Gold Fields Values by actively identifying and reporting hazards using the site's hazard reporting systems.
About you:
- At least 2 years of previous experience in underground operations operating underground machinery is highly regarded ie. Bogger & remote operation
- An extensive record of safe underground mining practices;
- A current Applied First Aid ticket would be highly regarded
- Holding a current C Class licence;
