An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and engaged Business Improvement Professional tomanage the Regional Business Improvement Program for the Gold Fields Australia Region. The role will report to the Vice President Operations and will contribute to the efficient delivery of Strategic and Business Plans including the achievement of Cost improvement targets.
As a dynamic BI Manager, you will provide functional guidance to the Regional BI Leads, manage Regional level projects and participate actively as a member of the broader Group BI Community of Practice.
You will be managing large regional projects, as well as the site improvement portfolio process which will include working closely with all Functions and Operating groups to deliver an effective solution – on time and budget.
As the successful incumbent, you will ideally have a Tertiary qualification in a Technical, Operating, Maintenance or Financial related field as well as Advanced Lean/Six Sigma or other Process Improvement qualifications.
You will have a demonstrated capability to manage upwards through influence, a strong background in coaching and mentoring (particularly at senior levels of the business). Your significant experience in leading Business Improvement programs that deliver bottom line value in mining or resources will have substantial impact to your success in the role.
The role is based in the Perth Office with regular trips to our four Operations. The role is available on a standard Monday to Friday day working week or a 9 day fortnight.
