The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist, this Project Geologist role offers the opportunity to support and deliver greenfields and brownfields exploration programs at Granny Smith.

You’ll deliver impactful exploration programs at Gold Fields, building your capability in a collaborative team while contributing to discovery, growth and Life of Mine.

In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in executing drilling programs, generating high-quality geological data, and supporting interpretations that drive exploration success and resource growth.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver and coordinate exploration programs, including AC, RC and DD drilling
• Collect, validate and interpret geological data to support decision-making
• Mentor and coach Graduate Geologists and field assistants
• Contribute to planning, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives, including geological evaluation of exploration targets

What You’ll Bring

• BSc in Geology with exploration experience (gold preferred)
• Experience supporting drilling programs and geological data management
• Exposure to geological modelling tools (e.g. Datamine, Leapfrog)
• Strong collaboration skills with a willingness to mentor and develop others
