We have one, full-time ongoing Investigative Steward opportunity available in our racing integrity team for an immediate start.

Through practical experience and on-the-job training, you’ll work with racing participants (such as owners, trainers, and breeders) to ensure they comply with relevant acts, codes, and rules.
You’ll also conduct inquiries and investigations into alleged breaches, using your analytical and interviewing skills to understand what’s happened and prepare appropriate reports.
This hand-on role travels across Victoria, working a flexible schedule including day, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
Known for your ability to communicate clearly and establish rapport with the toughest of customers, you conduct yourself calmly and professionally.
Your willingness to learn all things racing (and obtaining a Certificate IV in Government Investigations) coupled with an unrestricted driver licence and demonstrated skills using contemporary work-related technology such as Microsoft Office will ensure your success.

We offer competitive pay, with this position classified as grade 3 under the GRV Stewards and Associated Employees Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024 which attracts a base salary range of $79,914 to $94,194.
