We’re looking for one casual Kennel Attendant to join our motivated GAP team at Tullamarine.
If you’re looking to work hands on with greyhounds, this role is for you.
You will ensure all daily greyhound needs are met including feeding, watering, cleaning kennels, exercising and providing enrichment activities.
Our greyhounds will show their appreciation by providing cuddles and kisses each and every day.
While experience working in an animal shelter plus post-secondary studies in animal care/welfare will provide a solid base, it’s your knack for building relationships and working with others that will ensure your success. If you have a Victorian driver license, that will help.
Fun fact! Looks can be deceiving… our greyhounds can weigh up to 40kg, so you must be able to handle large dog breeds in a safe manner.
Our team works every day from 7:30am to 4pm, with weekday and weekend rosters available. Please outline your availability in your cover letter.

We offer competitive pay, with this position classified as grade 1 under the GRV Employee Enterprise Agreement (2019-2023) which attracts a base salary range of $49,499 to $53,016.
