Supply Planner

Kewdale, WA

About the Role:

Based at Kewdale and reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, the Supply Planner role is responsible for ensuring customer and production needs are seamlessly met by planning and coordinating the flow of materials, components, and finished goods. This includes maintaining accurate safety stock levels, managing MRP processes, and producing an achievable master production schedule that aligns sales forecasts with operational capacity. The role also focuses on continuous improvement, reducing aged and excess inventory, and enhancing ERP-driven planning processes. Acting as a key link between sales, operations, procurement, and suppliers, the Supply Planner helps maintain efficient inventory levels, supports operational decision-making, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and organisational policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End‑to‑end planning to meet demand
Responsible for ensuring sales demand is met through effective planning of manufactured products, purchasing, and stock transfers, while maintaining data accuracy within the ERP system.
  • Management of safety stock and inventory levels
Maintains finished goods, components, and consumables in line with company stocking policies to avoid shortfalls, reduce aged stock, and support production requirements.
  • MRP and ERP system oversight
Manages and analyses the MRP authorisation process for raw materials and manufactured products, and contributes to ERP improvements and integration projects.
  • S&OP and Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
Maintains an achievable master production schedule aligned with capacity and targets, acting as the key link between sales and operations for demand and supply planning.
  • Continuous improvement and analytical reporting
Identifies opportunities to automate planning processes, reduce inventory, streamline workflows, and provide clear analytical insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stock control, quality, and WHS compliance
Performs stock adjustments, reconciliations, stock take activities, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

About You:

You bring strong analytical capability, supported by APICS or relevant tertiary training and solid ERP knowledge across S&OP and MPS processes. Candidates must bring a minimum of three years’ experience in a similar planning or supply‑chain role, demonstrating sound understanding of manufacturing environments and inventory management principles. Success in this position relies on excellent communication skills, a proactive and customer‑focused mindset, and the ability to influence outcomes through data‑driven insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is essential, along with a professional demeanour and a commitment to continuous improvement and collaborative working values.
