About the role:

You will be responsible for communicating what Builderscrack does and the benefits it brings for both homeowners and tradies. You will join our small but mighty marketing team and help deliver company strategies through a wide range of marketing initiatives and channels. You will also work with other teams to bring alignment and deliver great outcomes!

How you will add value:

As a generalist, you will have the opportunity to create content, develop paid ad campaigns, craft email sequences, conduct customer research, work with strategic partners, develop landing pages, and conduct conversion rate optimisation (CRO) to help improve our funnels and key marketing pages.

When we say generalist we mean it — we’re not looking for a specialist in all of these skill sets (that’d be unrealistic). Our team size requires you to be dynamic, working on diverse marketing initiatives each quarter to bring us closer to our business goals. You’ll enjoy variety, take some (calculated) risks, create meaningful connections with our tradies and homeowners and have fun working within our core and cross-functional teams to make it happen.

  • Passion for the customer experience: You’re inquisitive, you like to look at research, data reports and analytics to get to know the customer inside and out. You soak up insights and customer anecdotes from Sales and Support. Most importantly, you bring that knowledge and passion into your work through your messaging, and craft campaigns that resonate with your audiences in order to get results.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: You’ll be a core member of our marketing team, and a critical arm of our business strategy working with our Product, Engineering, Sales and Support teams. You’ll ensure we’re present in the digital channels used by both homeowners and tradies. You’ll challenge the way we get things done, bring to life our marketing mix, both existing and upcoming, and think holistically about how best to deliver an omni-channel marketing strategy.
  • Showcasing your gift with tech: You know how to leverage marketing tools, analytics and automation technology. You enjoy the details behind incremental results, A/B split testing, keyword research and prompt engineering. You love mocking-up a visual in Figma, and creating content in Canva. You’re confident in your ability to utilise the right tools to get the best results for the task, and you’re up for a bit of innovation and experimentation.
  • Willingness to learn: Whether you're sharpening your existing knowledge or deepening your skill set, the learning never stops. You’re comfortable with accepting there is room to grow — which is great, because it is a big part of our culture.

About you:

  • You’ll have at least 5 years of marketing experience or similar commercially focused Marketing Coordinator/Marketing Executive role. You’ve been involved with cross-functional teams previously and/or you can demonstrate outstanding stakeholder management skills.
  • Digital marketing is built on a foundation of solid creative, analytical and digital skills. You’re well versed in each domain and can confidently get started on crafting. You have an eye for detail and design, and can spin an engaging narrative using the power of words and imagery. You’ll be an important stakeholder in bringing our brand to life, so having good design and copywriting skills is essential.
  • But — like we said — we’re also realistic. If you have most of the skills mentioned in this description, but are short on one or two, we’d still love to hear from you! Just tell us why you’re perfect for the role.
