Hollard Commercial Insurance (HCi) is part of the Hollard Insurance Company Pty Ltd.
About the Role
The position is responsible for delivering an informed, fair and timely claims management service to HCi’s broker network and their clients, specifically on higher value property claims. This includes providing technical support to the HCi claims team and active relationship management with Loss Adjusters, panel suppliers, internal UW areas and distribution team.
We are looking for the following skills and experience for this position:
- At least 5 years claims experience on Business Package products.
- Experience in providing advice to peers within a claims team.
- Experience in dealing with a Broker Network.
- Maintaining current knowledge of insurance guidelines, court decisions impacting claims functions, and policy changes and modifications and recommending changes to Company policies and procedures.
- Understanding of Claims handling authority, Claims Manual and Service Level Agreements.
Understanding of General Insurance Code of Practice, Contracts Insurance Act and Privacy Act
