We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to drive business growth and manage strategic customer relationships. This role focuses on developing long-term partnerships, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored, value-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in technical or consultative sales, a proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, and a track record of exceeding revenue targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary customer interface responsible for the development of business, and management of relationships, with specific customers.
  • Serving as the customer's ambassador, trusted advisor, and advocate. Championing the customer’s needs and requirements within the Honeywell organization.
  • Developing and sustaining long-term customer relationships at all levels, including senior levels;
  • Maintaining a balanced approach to superior customer service and strategic account planning (i.e. quarterly results and long-term account goals);
  • Being the focal point for relationship strategies, account and sales plans, proposal strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Driving sales campaigns and business strategic initiatives, while planning for account growth in the long term.
  • Engaging early in the customer buying process, diagnosing customer needs, and tailoring solutions to match.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and providing consultative support by building value propositions for solutions into account.
  • Work closely with the management team, to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for achievement of revenue, margin plans and economic value-added goals

Key Experience & Capabilities:

  • 5–10 years experienced professional with a background in Utilities (Water, Gas, or Electricity),
  • Extensive experience in building and maintaining relationships with customers
  • A background in either account management or client facing role (e.g. business development, project management, technical delivery); and
  • Exposure to B2B sales ideally in the utility sector or process industry.
  • Customer engagement at senior levels; building long-term strategic and executive relationships
  • Cross selling and consultative selling - experience with collaborating with both clients and own organization to drive a One-Honeywell approach
  • At least 5 years’ experience required in lieu of degree
  • Opportunity for a seasoned utilities professional to step into a leadership-focused role, supporting operations across Melbourne with occasional (once weekly) visits to the Broadmeadows factory
