As a Sr Field Service Technician your focus will be toinstall, configure, and maintain BMS/HVAC Control Systems on customer sites, tailoring your solutions to meet their individual needs and priorities. The role is based on our site in Woodford, Queensland. At Honeywell we are always trying to push the envelope, always looking to optimize and innovate beyond just maintaining the status quo. Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment BMS equipment (as per trade expertise)
  • Fault finding and problem-solving using hands on methods as well as software tools such as trending and reports.
  • Utilise knowledge of standard BMS interfaces such as BACnet, Modbus, and others
  • Finding opportunities to improve and optimise customer systems and make recommendations accordingly
  • Assist customers in monitoring and reducing Energy usage
  • Working directly with customers to identify priorities, and specific challenges, and then helping them to reach the desired outcome within their budget and timeframe.
  • Working with other Honeywell techs, engineers and support teams to deliver top quality outcomes
  • Working with external subcontractors and other trades to meet customer needs
  • Writing detailed reports to communicate with customers findings from service or breakdown visits
  • Identify opportunities and work with sales and admin support staff to create quotes, then deliver the work

Requirements

  • HVAC controls experience – Essential knowledge of control strategies and the field application of the same
  • Mechanical systems experience – Good understanding of mechanical systems
  • Electrical experience - Basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching
  • Software experience – Essential competence in being able to understand software code and control routines.
  • Instrumentation experience – Knowledge of instrumentation devices and control applications
  • Customer liaison and communication
  • Basic knowledge of financial systems and small works quotations
  • Open to anyone who has electronic security experience with restricted electrical
