We are currently seeking a Security Technician to join our Honeywell team at the Darwin Correctional facility. This customer-facing role requires a strong focus on understanding and addressing customer needs within the electronic security industry.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with customers to assess their security requirements and identify suitable solutions
Generate tailored solutions with a specific emphasis on Electronic Access Control Systems (EACS), CCTV, and alarm systems
Collaborate with the Field Service Supervisor to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery success
Provide expert knowledge of our products and services to help guide customers' purchasing decisions
Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment (training provided)
Configuration of security systems hardware and software
Diagnose faults and repairs on security systems

Requirements

Experience as Security Technician or Electrician
Ability to understand and explain electronic security systems to clients. (training provided)
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
EWP licence
Ability to be on call, work a rotating roster
