Join our team to lead the development and implementation of data assets and models for the HUB24 product. You'll transform external customer data, deliver reporting insights, and champion a data-driven culture. This role also involves ensuring best practices in architecture, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing support for existing applications, including on-call roster support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed technical analysis, database and system programming, and day-to-day support services for HUB24 and its clients
  • Provide all lines of IT support, diagnose and resolve problems as assigned and ensure compliance with established practices and protocols
  • Work collaboratively with team members to design and develop solutions that meet the documented business requirements
  • Ensure the systems' integrity, security, confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including privacy and financial industry regulations
  • Accurately maintain system documentation, including change requests, problem and resolution knowledge bases, and documentation produced during the system life cycle
  • Work with business analysts and other stakeholders to refine the design of system enhancements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships and work with other team members to implement effective solutions for clients
  • Work collaboratively, share responsibilities, and provide backup support to other team members in the areas of development, support and maintenance
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer/Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a software engineer
  • Understanding of relational database technologies and knowledge of database design techniques in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Demonstrated SQL skills with extensive experience in developing stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with Modern Data Stack options specifically Databricks
  • Demonstrated skills in C# to develop Web Services / Micro-Services / ETL functions using Visual Studio
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and customer focused skills and the ability to effectively communicate
  • Experience with testing tools such as Postman or similar test automation tools
  • Experience with Git/Azure Dev Ops would be well regarded and experience working in an Agile (SCRUM) based environment
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform or Apigee Web Services would be well regarded
  • A strong passion for technology and continuous learning is a must
