About You:

A problem solver whose analytical experience involves strategic, technical, and complex operational problems in an environment of ambiguity and change. You’ll have a relentless commitment to continuous improvement and be a confident communicator and relationship-builder. Exposure to the National Electricity Market or contract negotiations will contribute to your success in this role.

About the role:

As Senior Spot Market Analyst, you will support and mentor a team of Spot Market analysts while contributing to the development of spot trading strategies to maximise revenue. You will contribute to effective management and optimisation of critical operational contract arrangements within energy markets, helping to optimise the electricity delivery, gas and ancillary services markets.

You will analyse competitor dispatch and trading behaviour to identify and recommend market opportunities and relay to key stakeholders in a meaningful way.
