YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to join the team at our Nova Operation at an exciting time of growth at IGO.

The Plant Engineer, as a service provider is to provide optimised plant and equipment facilities to meet the established objectives of the business.

We are better together; you will:

  • Develop and implement maintenance strategy and systems;
  • Ensure optimised reliability of plant and equipment operation – service provider mindset
  • Optimise maintenance and operating costs
  • Define and execute capital and maintenance projects
  • Satisfy all safety, environmental, and other regulations
  • Provide and oversee short- and long-term asset management strategies
  • Manage operational risk by using leading indicators to measure and communicate asset health
  • Generate new and varied solutions to problems to improve existing work practices and procedures; and
  • Take ownership for own individual performance to achieve own and team goals.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

As a collaborative Engineer, you will also have the following:

  • Substantial experience in a similar role with a degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • Multi-disciplinary background with a strong understanding of not only mechanical but also civil, structural, piping, and electrical engineering disciplines
  • The ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in a growing and changing environment;
  • A shared alignment with IGO values;
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to influence people;
  • A current and valid manual Driver’s Licence;
  • A National Police Clearance obtained within the last 2 months; and
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
