THE ROLE
Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, this role is responsible for ongoing maintenance & breakdown repairs across all assets, including Fixed Plant, Processing Plant, Paste Plant, Workshop and Non-Process Infrastructure,
We are seeking people who can demonstrate the following capabilities:
- Monitoring and regular maintenance of equipment across the mine site;
- Reporting all faults and ensure that repairs are carried out;
- Mechanical fitting and welding; and
- Communicating directly with your leader to ensure that they are fully versed with problems or critical issues. Flexible approach to managing priorities and quick to adapt to a changing environment;
- Well-developed and effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills;

YOUR EXPERIENCE
It is essential that you have significant experience in a similar role within a mining environment. Along with a positive, energetic attitude and willingness to contribute and be part of a team, you will also have the following:
- Certificate III Mechanical Fitting;
- Solid understanding of process plants including crushing, milling, flotation, dewatering and paste;
- Tickets Required: CN, CV, DG, LF, RB, WP, CS, WAH;
- Safety focused with the drive to be part of a successful team supporting our company values;
- Valid ‘HR’ manual drivers licence; and
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last two (2) months.
