YOUR OPPORTUNITY

We are on the hunt for a Plant Metallurgist to join our Processing team. You will be the driving force to optimise the extraction process of valuable minerals from the Run of Mine ore while meeting concentrate specifications at the highest possible throughput, as well as provide technical metallurgical support to the Processing team.

You will be accountable for:

  • Monitoring and optimising plant performance and liaising with operations to provide technical support;
  • Daily and monthly metallurgical accounting for reporting and reconciliation purposes;
  • Metallurgical performance analysis reporting; and,
  • Recognising improvement opportunities through plant surveys, metallurgical test work and optimisation studies;

YOUR EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will be a collaborative team player with a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will also have the following:

  • A degree in relevant technical discipline;
  • Significant experience working in a similar position;
  • Flotation experience (desirable);
  • MSA experience (desirable);
  • Highly effective communication skills;
  • Demonstrated ability in continuous improvement and cost reduction;
  • Safety focused with the drive to be part of a successful team and willingness to support company values;
  • Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers licence; and,
  • National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
