YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Exciting things are happening at IGO, including the development of the Odysseus Underground Nickel Mine at our Cosmos Nickel Operation based near Leinster in Western Australia. Once in production, Odysseus will deliver high quality nickel concentrates into the global nickel market which is growing rapidly driven by demand for nickel rich lithium-ion batteries.

You'll have the opportunity to flex your leadership muscles and be responsible for the effective coordination and supervision of all underground mechanical maintenance related issues to enable achievement of budgeted production targets, meeting all quality standards including cost, safety and environment.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
We are on the hunt for experienced, collaborative leaders who will get a kick out of working in an underground start-up/commissioning environment with:
- A recognised Trade qualification;
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplined teams;
- Experience in fixed plant underground operational mining environment;
- Excellence in championing environmental outcomes and actively making a difference;
- An excellent mechanical aptitude;
- Possesses a high level of computer literacy and the ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively;
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months; and,
- Current ‘C’ Class Manual Driver’s Licence;
